Me at an earlier bankroll management system I had invented
Well there is a saying in the money world see someone do something good , copy it. See some one do something bad copy it. Monkey see monkey do. I have been trying to figure out bankroll management from a freeroll prospective and all manner of machines and systems have failed me. Well seems a world champ ( not chimp) in the human world (not chimp world) has all ready done it. Chris Ferguson had a mission – turn 0$ into 10.000$ and it was this project in bankroll management which would get him there. The good part is it has clear simply easy to follow rules for his buy in strategy we can easily copy him.. And the rules to copy like a monkey whether you are playing cards or trading currency ARE
1. Never buy into a cash-table or a Sit&Go with more than 5 percent of his total bankroll (with an exception for the lowest limits: it was allowed to buy into any game with a buy-in less than 2.50$).
2. Never buy into a multi-table tournament for more than 2 percent of the bankroll to a minimum tournament buy in of 1$
3. If at any time during a No-Limit or Pot-Limit cash-game session the money on the table represents more than 10 percent of the total bankroll, he must leave the game when the blinds reach him.
Starting with an account at Full Tilt Poker with a balance of 0$ Chris Ferguson had to play freerolls until he earned enough for a cash-table buy in.
So there it is and there is bankroll management done and done ready to follow. I might get out of this petting zoo yet. Check out my posting on friends make friends money in poker for more about getting some free staring cash at Full tilt, or grind out the freerolls but lets copy the bankroll management please my good little monkeys.
