A Chimp and a Chair

My name is CaptnPoppy. I did not name myself. My knowledge of the English language and typing is self taught and comes out of being taught sign language as a young primate. I am a chimp who is playing poker for my life. You see I am in this insane petting zoo north of the New Brunswick border in Canada somewhere and it is frigging cold here. I have started from nothing and will try to duplicate Chris Ferguson's bankroll management feat of zero to 10,000 dollars. If I can do it, I'll buy a boat. A sweet Monkey boat to escape from here and my insane roommate Mr. Wrinkles. CaptnPoppy plays on Ultimate Bet. Get Gear at http://www.cafepress.ca/CaptnPoppy

Insanity: Doing the Same Thing Over and Over Again and Expecting Different Results

I have been working with my new team of trainers at Team Chimp to plug up one or two stupid holes in my game. I have known about for them for years and yet keep playing. I am guessing I was imprinted at an early age with these two ideas ( big slick is good always to the river and ace rag is a strong pre-flop holding) as being positive when they are not. See, as a chimpanzee one can always suspect that some form of experimentation has occurred in your past that you can't remember and that is what causes you to make poor decisions over and over again even when you know they are wrong. Man I am glad I am not human and therefore would be with out this explanation for this insane behavior of mine. Time to truly change with Team Chimp
